The towing/auction company picked up my car today, just one day after I began the process. (I'd attempted to donate the car with a different online group, and after three weeks of back and forth, gave up.)

By the way, this is the best organized process I've seen for managing
car donations. You have all the information needed for both me and the towing company. It also appears that you've kept your cost to a minimum by using the web site (not phone numbers) and not trying to duplicate or coordinate any work either I or the tow company need to perform. I donated a car 2 years ago through a different charity but your process is far superior.

I'm very impressed with the Teddy Bear Cops organization just from dealing with you ..you are fast in your response and straight forward in your messages they should give you a raise (tell them I said so). From all the sites I visited regarding donating my VERY used car yours was the only one that truthfully explained that the I.R.S. is very selective as far as how much a person can actually deduct from their income tax. I now realize that the other sites are willing to give you any value you want for the car. Whether or not that value is accepted by the I.R.S. as tangible deduction is another story. You'll only find out in three years if your audited.
